Historical Colloquia of Extremadura

On September 26, the Convento de la Coria hosted a new edition of the Colloquiums on Trujillo, a day dedicated to meeting, exchanging knowledge and reflecting on the city, its history, its heritage and its current reality.
The initiative brought together participants linked to different areas of the cultural and social life of Trujillo, generating a space for conversation in which to share perspectives, experiences and initiatives related to the city and its environment.
The Colloquiums are part of the Xavier de Salas Foundation's vocation to maintain La Coria as a place open to dialogue and participation, capable of bringing together different perspectives on Trujillo and contributing to the knowledge, conservation and enhancement of its historical and cultural heritage.
During the day, the presentation of recognition also took place, in an event held in the Convento de la Coria itself, as part of an edition that combined reflection, meeting and recognition of the contribution to the life of the city.
The celebration of these Colloquiums reinforces one of the Foundation's lines of work: promoting initiatives that connect knowledge and culture with Trujillo and its territory, making the Convento de la Coria a meeting space for the community.
